Your How-To Guide On Dieting.

Looking to lose weight? If so, you aren’t alone. More and more people in this world are fighting a weight problem and as such, people are going on diets and fat loss workout plans daily.

But, how many people see success? If the truth is told, just a mere fraction will actually get the end results that they’re going for.
If you want to see weight loss success, it’s vital that you understand the full process of what’s going to have to occur in order to see results so that you can then implement the proper procedures to make that happen.
Let’s look at what you need to know about Dieting to weight loss.

The Calorie Balance Equation

The very first and possibly most critical thing that you need to know about weight loss is the calorie balance equation. This equation simply states that in order for you to gain or lose weight, there must be a miss-match in your calorie expenditure and your calorie intake.

If you consume fewer calories than you burn off over the course of the day, you lose weight.

If you consume more calories than you burn off over the course of the day, you gain weight.

If you consume the exact same amount of calories (or close to it) that you burn each day, you’ll maintain your body weight.

By understanding this then, the process of weight loss becomes more clear. There’s nothing that you can do beyond consuming fewer calories or burning more calories that will help you see success.

Not special food combinations, not special electronic devices aimed to stimulate the muscles – nothing.

You absolutely must eat less than you burn – period. If you can achieve calorie balance success, creating what’s referred to as a calorie deficit, you’re going to be losing weight.

Now, keep in mind that in order to lose one pound of body fat, you need to create a calorie deficit of around 3500 calories. This means that you must either burn 3500 calories more than you eat, eat 3500 calories less than you burn, or a combination of both.
